Live Painting  ·  Weddings & Events

I'll paint your
wedding while
it's happening.

A working easel in the corner of your venue where I quietly capture the beauty, emotion, and atmosphere of your ceremony as it unfolds. The finished piece becomes a meaningful, one-of-a-kind keepsake from your wedding day.

01 How it works

An easel in the
corner of the room.

  1. 01

    We pick the moment

You tell me what you most want painted: the ceremony, the first dance, the room at golden hour, the view from the head table. We choose one anchor scene, plus the size and orientation.

  2. 02

I arrive early, set up quietly

I show up early, before the moment we've picked, scout the angle, set up an easel in a corner that won't block sightlines, and start blocking in the background: your venue, the light, the setting.

  3. 03

I paint live during the event

Guests are welcome to watch over my shoulder. It's part of the experience. I work in fast-drying acrylic so the piece can travel that night.

  4. 04

You take it home that night

I hand the finished, signed painting to you and your partner before the night ends. This special piece of art becomes a meaningful, one-of-a-kind keepsake from your wedding day.

"Jen's live wedding painting was one of the most unique and memorable parts of the day. Not only was it entertaining for our guests to watch it come to life, but now my daughter has a beautiful piece of artwork hanging in her home that instantly brings her back to that special moment."

02 From a recent wedding

How a piece comes together.

  1. A wooden field easel holding a blank canvas, with a palette, jars of brushes, and a reference photo set up on the grass beside the wooden ceremony pews.
01A blank canvas, set up before guests arrive.
  2. Jen standing at her easel on the lawn, palette and brush in hand, smiling as she begins to paint the scene in front of her.
02Paintbrush in hand during your ceremony.
  3. An outdoor wedding ceremony under sweeping oak trees, the couple at the altar with the wedding party beside them, guests in wooden pews, and a petal-lined aisle framed by baskets of wildflowers.
03Jen captures the moment as it unfolds.
  4. A close overhead view of the canvas mid-painting, the oak branches and tree trunks built up with detailed brushwork, Jen's brush and watercolor-style palette beside it and guests gathered behind.
04Painting the details of your special day.
  5. The finished, signed painting: the couple at the altar beneath the oaks, the wedding party lined along the pews, a white petal aisle, and baskets of flowers in the foreground.
05Your one of a kind piece is finished that evening.

03 Common questions

A few things couples
ask before booking.

How far ahead should we book?
Four to six months for a Saturday in season (April–October). Weekday and off-season dates sometimes open up closer in. Feel free to ask.
Will guests be in the painting?
Yes, the headline figures (you and your partner, the wedding party at the altar, the parents at the first dance) appear in the painting. Background guests are suggested with brushwork rather than rendered individually.
Do you travel outside Fresno County?
Yes, across the Central Valley and the Sierra foothills. Travel beyond Fresno County is quoted with mileage and, for dates over an hour out, a single overnight.

Tell me about
your day.

A quick note with your date, venue, and the moment you'd most want painted is enough to start. I usually reply within two business days.
